You will get just one mini pattern of the owl that you see on the cover and miniature alphabet that you can use to back-stitch a name under this cute owl. I see from a reaction on another review I wrote that people might get an impression they would get more patterns in this book, so I wanted to point out this is just one owl pattern.I am biased because I like having cross stitch patterns on Kindle, since I can easily enlarge them and follow. And this pattern is clear and easy to follow. I already have a hippie owl from the same series so I'm thinking what kind of project I could do with the two of them. I might also get a third one.
As a stand allone motif, I would recommend this to someone who has a friend that likes owls for a small gift project, a card or stitching in on a pillow, in one corner. Just be sure to click on the cover of the book (you can see it enlarged) and decide if it meets your taste. Another option would be to get a few similar style owls from the same author and do something more demanding.

I thought this was one of the cutest football items I've seen in quite awhile. Grandson will love it when I put it in a frame with his name under it. Works up quick and its cute as can be. Use whatever colors, you like.
